Just like your backyard, your landscape needs work and care to keep it looking great. Your pond and or lake requires the same amount of attention. Keeping those pesky invasive weeds under control before they get out of control. Keeping the environmental balance of nature in your pond is paramount to keeping it under control. Hydrilla is a mayor issue in the waters of Florida. It is not a native plant and it has taken over some areas. Restricting boat navigation, water flow recreation and much more. Hydrilla is an underwater plant that can rapidly grow from the bottom of the lake or pond and reach the top of the water. They can reach up to 20 feet high or more in length, because of the size and it rate of growth they have become an ecological threat. Since it can grow almost in any condition, it gives it an unfair advantage and it out competes other n native plants.
